Icelandair Returns to Orlando International Airport
Over the past few months, Icelandair has been rolling out new routes across the globe, including some strategic moves in the United States. As part of that push to expand, the carrier started flying out of Orlando International this month after a nine-year absence. The nonstop flights to Icelandair’s hub at Reykjavik, depart on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m.
Etihad Is Flying in Style With the Airbus A380
Etihad Airways originally announced that it would start flying the first Airbus A380 between New York and Abu Dhabi on December 1. But that date has been moved up to November 23, which is just in time for Thanksgiving weekend and the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Air China Adds Flights From Newark to Beijing
There’s change in the air this fall, as Air China is expanding its reach with a new route between Newark and Beijing. The route will include four nonstop flights a week, starting on October 26. Air China is not new to the New York City area, and already flies twice a day from JFK to Beijing.

A New Route and A New Plane For British Airways
In 2016 British Airways will start flying from Mineta San José International Airport to London Heathrow, and is the first time there has been nonstop service to the UK from this airport. Along with the news of the new route, they will also be bringing on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the newest aircraft in their fleet, and it has been outfitted with a re-designed first cabin. The route and the Dreamliner are slated to take off on May 4th, 2016, and tickets are now on sale.
Japan Airlines Is Adding Nonstop Flights Between DFW and Tokyo
Japan Airlines is returning to Dallas, starting with four weekly flights between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Tokyo Narita (NRT) Airport. Service will resume in November, with the possibility of daily flights in the spring of 2016.
